Sales Analysis

Projecting the future of any business requires an extensive analysis of current and past sales trends. You can get that information from the Sales Analysis module. Comprehensive reporting enables you to format reports by selecting what information will be analyzed, and in what order. Produce reports for a specific period or a comparison to prior periods. Select and print data in units, sales, cost, gross profits, or any combination.

FEATURES

Period Reporting and History Storage

Maintain from two to 13 periods per year. Process invoice and cost of goods sold information for the current or next period. Reporting periods may correspond to fiscal or calendar years. Two full years of sales history provides past period reporting and previous year’s comparative analysis.

User-Defined Reporting

Select the format, range of periods (up to 12), which figures (sales, cost, gross profit, gross profit percent, and/or units), and other selected information to print.

Report Formats

Select from three report formats: accumulated sums and single line format; comparison of any range of periods to any other range, such as current year to previous year; multiperiod prints for up to 12 selected periods.

Report Order

Print in any order by customer account, customer class, or salesperson/territory. Print item reports in order by item number, supplier, or item class. Print salesperson reports by salesperson/territory or region. All reports print in alphabetical order, and many reports have a second option to sort in descending order.

Customer, Product, Salesperson Information

Sales and costs are accumulated each period for reporting sales, cost, gross profit percentage, and commissions.

Commissions

Calculate commissions on all invoces or only on paid invoices. Print commissions with or without cost and gross profit information.
